Million Mom Marcher Barbara Graham breaks seven different gun-control laws - also known as Barbara Lipscomb

Million Mom Marcher Barbara Graham was convicted on nine counts of breaking seven different gun-control laws after she shot construction worker Kikko Smith. Million Mom March (MMM) co-organizer Barbara Graham is also known as Barbara Lipscomb, Barbara Graham, Barbara Martin, Barbara Ann Lipscomb, Barbara Ann Graham, and Barbara Ann Martin.

The press release Woman Sentenced for Shooting and Paralyzing Innocent Unarmed Man from the U.S. Department of Justice lists some of the charges: Assault With Intent To Kill While Armed, Aggravated Assault While Armed, Mayhem While Armed, three separate counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime of Violence, and other related gun charges.

I called up the U.S. Department of Justice on 23 October 2002 and asked what the "other related gun charges" were. One of the U.S Attorneys very kindly told me. The other charges were: Carrying Pistol Without License, Unregistered Firearm, and Illegal Possession Of Ammunition. These are local Washington DC gun-control laws not federal laws.

The court case number was F423600. The U.S. Attorney told me that trial transcripts are available from the Court Reporter Service at telephone number 202-879-1010. I spent $675 for the trial transcript and another $15 for the sentencing transcript. I read the transcripts and posted highlights from the trial and sentencing

I forgot to ask the U.S. Attorney how to spell his name and if he wanted to be mentioned by name here. So I won't expose him to the risk of being harassed by gun control lobbyists.
